Carle Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant to support routine administrative and patient care duties in a busy clinic in Danville, Illinois. The role assists physicians and nursing staff to keep the office running smoothly and delivers compassionate, accurate care to patients at each visit.

The position requires CMA or RMA certification from AAMA/AMT/NAHP etc., a high school diploma or GED, BLS within 30 days, and strong patient communication.

Qualificações

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days required.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Rooming patients and collecting information on visit.
• Telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and facilities.
• Administrative tasks: check-in/out, scheduling, referrals, and verification of benefits.
• Assist with procedures, venipuncture, and point-of-care testing as directed.
• Administer medications per orders and manage refills per protocols.
• Provide patient education and coordinate referrals and testing.
