Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to accompany patients to exam rooms, prepare patients for exams, and document vital signs under physician supervision. The CMA will also administer medications with physician authorization and reinforce patient education on office policies and transitional care.

The role requires CMA certification, BLS, and at least two years of clinical experience in a physician office setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited agency required.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of standard medical office practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients and accompanying family members with exemplary customer service.
• Accompany patients into exam rooms and prepare them for exams.
• Perform and document vital signs, assist with procedures, and prepare/administer medications with physician's authorization.
• Reinforce patient education regarding office policies, medications, and transitional care.
• Assist with lab/x-ray reports, referrals, authorizations, and medical forms as needed.
• Support other office tasks such as scheduling, filing, and stocking supplies.
• Utilize strong organizational and communication skills, and maintain professional demeanor.
