Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Perrysburg Village Square to join our care team. The CMA collaborates with the primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care within the Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines.

The role includes updating health records, taking vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and supporting clerical tasks. Certification and BLS are required, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification or ABR-OE acceptable (not in SC).
• BLS Basic Life Support required at some locations or prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Review and update patient charts, verify diagnostic test results and records.
• Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, BP, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phone coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
