Tidelands Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant III to join our team. The role supports direct patient care, coordinates with multi-disciplinary staff, and handles complex tasks across EMR modules to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, and certification through NHA/AMT/NCCT/AAMA, with 3+ years of healthcare exposure and 1+ year scheduling patients. Light on-site duties apply.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer-facing healthcare experience.
• At least 1 year scheduling or preregistering patients.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Accompany patients to exam rooms, preparing them for exams.
• Perform and document vital signs.
• Assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications with physician’s authorization.
• Perform EKGs.
• Use CPR skills when required.
• Draw blood.
• Provide patient education on office policies, medications, and disease management.
• Stock exam rooms, clean rooms, clean instruments, dispose of biohazard waste per OSHA standards.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
