Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Active CMA or RMA certification is required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation for examinations and vital signs.
• Support clinicians during exams and procedures; prepare exam rooms and instruments.
• Perform venipunctures, injections, vaccines and minor procedures as ordered by the LIP.
• Administer medications per orders within CMA scope.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments and handle pre-visit planning and follow-ups.
