Job summary

Sanitas in the United States is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative tasks in a busy clinic. You will assist with patient care, perform basic procedures under the direction of a licensed Independent Provider, and help maintain office operations.

The ideal candidate will hold CMA or RMA certification, complete an accredited medical assisting program, have 1+ year of healthcare experience, and hold current CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification (AAMA/AMT) required
• High school diploma or equivalent plus accredited medical assisting program
• 1+ year healthcare experience in a clinical setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care, including vital signs and exams
• Perform blood draws, injections, and minor procedures under supervision
• Administer medications per orders within scope
• Prepare exam rooms, organize supplies, and perform CLIA-waived tests
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals and follow-ups
