Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.
• CMA cert is preferred; alternatively NCMA certification may be acceptable.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures (vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, wound care).
• Prepare and clean exam rooms; manage patient intake and test results.
• Support administrative duties: pre-register patients, schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, verify insurance.
• Maintain documentation and daily logs; monitor clinic supplies and equipment.
• Educate patients on medications and health topics; address questions.
