Community Health Systems is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a part-time clinic position in Navarre, FL. The CMA will support medical procedures, patient intake, and clinic operations under supervision, ensuring efficient and courteous patient service.

The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a medical setting or completion of an externship. CMA-AAMA or NCMA certification and BCLS are preferred and may be reimbursed. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
• CMA-AAMA or NCMA certification preferred
• BCLS certification required (AHA/ARC/ASHI)

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures and vital signs.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties and documents medical information as directed.
• Maintains daily logs and clinic documentation.
• Supports administrative duties including pre-registration and scheduling.
• Manages inventory and orders supplies as needed.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
