Job summary

The position offers a $7500 commitment incentive and requires MA certification with an AHA/BLS credential; outpatient workflow includes rooming, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and EMR data entry. Onsite work schedule is Day Job, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES is strongly preferred but not required.
• Requires Medical Assistant certification by AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NRCMA or NCMA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Prior MA experience or externship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooming and intake including vitals and patient data.
• Collects patient medical and social history.
• Assist provider during treatments and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens as directed.
• Administer medications under provider supervision.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
