Job summary

North Okaloosa Physician Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and administrative functions under a medical provider's supervision in Crestview, FL. You will assist with procedures, manage patient intake, and help maintain efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

The role emphasizes room preparation, vitals, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, and patient education, with opportunities for growth and licensure support.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
• CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT licensure required
• BCLS certification required by recognized bodies (AHA/ARC/ASHI)

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures (vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs)
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures
• Performs patient intake duties including reporting test results and phone triage
• Maintains daily logs and documentation
• Supports administrative duties (pre-registering, scheduling, referrals, insurance checks)
• Maintains organized workload and provides courteous service
• Monitors and requisitions clinic supplies and equipment
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Keeps regular attendance and adheres to policies
