Job summary

Community Care Partners in Hermiston, OR is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient examinations, record vitals and assist providers.

You will prepare rooms, perform injections and phlebotomy, manage specimens, document care in EMR, and educate patients on treatments. Certification and BLS required; minimum 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Current Certification as a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA) is required, with BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs and history, and provide treatment as applicable.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms; select, setup, sterilize, and maintain medical supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and facilitate wound management under providers orders.
• Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens through routine in-house testing procedures, log results, and perform lab call-backs.
• Document basic patient care and procedures, utilizing appropriate forms and electronic medical records.
• Schedule patients for tests, initial, and follow-up appointments if applicable in care setting.
• Instruct patients and family regarding treatment and medication instructions.
• Collaborate, take direction, and initiate actions to ensure seamless patient care.
• Phlebotomy.
• Perform opening/closing clinic duties and patient call backs; perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:
