Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support for the Employee Health clinician. The role performs delegated MA tasks under supervision of the EHWC Site NP and EHMG Practice Administrator, with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• HIPAA knowledge required.
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Outlook, basic Excel).
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and valid MA certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules for employee visits and keep accurate medical records.
• Front desk duties: data entry, patient flow, phone coverage, filing and chart retrieval.
• Verify registrations and insurance, enter charges in EHR.
• Prepare patients for exams, take vitals and assist with examinations.
• Perform blood draws, vaccines, and EKGs under clinician supervision.
• Prepare reports on utilization, co-pay, and satisfaction summaries as requested.
• Ensure lab compliance and record data in the lab binder.
