Job summary

MultiCare Health System's Rockwood Clinic in Spokane Valley is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join a team of physicians and APPs. This full-time position supports patient flow, exam prep, and safe clinical tasks under supervision; schedule: Day, 4x10s, FTE 1.0.

You will perform vital signs, venipuncture, medication administration per WA DOH rules, and coordinate with front office staff on referrals and records.

Qualifications

• WA MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in healthcare preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff.
• Interview patients.
• Obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications per WA DOH regulations and documented competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Send/receive patient medical records.
• Facilitate patient referrals.
• Prepare forms for patients.
