Eastern New Mexico Medical Group in Roswell, NM is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under physician supervision. You will support clinical and administrative functions, assist with procedures, maintain exam rooms, manage patient intake, and help ensure efficient clinic operations with excellent patient service.

The position emphasizes clinical assisting, patient education, and teamwork in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Understanding of medical terminology and infection control practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking skills for analyzing and resolving clinical and administrative challenges.
• Ability to perform care according to age-specific competencies.

Responsabilités

• Assists with clinical procedures (vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs).
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits.
• Performs patient intake duties and documents medical information as directed.
• Reviews and maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties (pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification).
• Maintains an organized workload and provides courteous, efficient service.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
