Santa Rosa Medical Group in Florida is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team in Milton. The CMA provides patient care under supervision, assists with procedures, maintains exam rooms, and helps ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate has 0-1 years of experience, knowledge of medical office procedures, and holds CMA/NCMA certification with BCLS.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications (MS Office, Google Suite).
• Understanding of medical terminology and infection control practices.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures (vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs).
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for visits and procedures.
• Manages patient intake, test results, triage calls and medical documentation.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports front-d desk duties: scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and clinic communications.
• Maintains organized workload with courteous service.
• Monitors clinic supplies and equipment inventory.
• Educates patients on medications and health topics.
