Job summary

Adams and Associates is seeking an instructor to lead CMA training at our Job Corps center in the United States. You will provide hands-on teaching across medical assisting topics and prepare students for CMA certification and employment opportunities.

The role requires at least one year of teaching or healthcare training experience, CMA certification/licensure, and the ability to manage a dynamic classroom with safety and professionalism. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching, training, or related healthcare experience.
• Must hold CMA certification or state licensure where the Center is located.
• Knowledge of CMA practices, terminology, and industry standards.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, and hands-on CMA instruction.
• Prepare students for CMA certification exams and job placement in healthcare.
• Ensure the learning environment is safe, clean, and well-organized.
• Monitor student progress and provide remediation and support as needed.
• Mentor students and collaborate with Center staff to support success.
