Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Infusion Clinic in Chelsea, MI. This part-time role supports physicians, NPs and RNs with patient care, triage, and clinic workflows.

The MA will assist with history taking, EMR entry, scheduling, referrals, and discharge tasks, ensuring smooth patient flow. Training and certification within six months are required, with a 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. day shift.

Qualifications

• Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One to three months on the job training and recent medical field experience.
• Certification/Licensure: Must have MA certification or be willing to obtain within six months of being in MA role.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care assistance to physicians, NPs and RNs.
• Perform telephone triage to support patient needs.
• Enter medical history and visit information into the EMR.
• Prepping patients for procedures in Infusion Center.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage discharge paperwork.
• Order medical supplies and stock inventory.
