Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant by AAMA/AMT/NCMA/NCMA/CCMA is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Prior MA or MA externship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooming and intake including vitals and reason for visit.
• Collects patient/family data and medical history.
• Review current medications and allergies; assess pharmacy.
• Assist provider during treatments and procedures.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy.
