Responsibilities include assisting providers during procedures, phlebotomy, medication administration under supervision, and scheduling. Strong MA certification preferred; on-site work, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Requires Medical Assistant certification by AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program is strongly preferred but not required.
• None required as long as other position qualifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vital signs (height, weight) and intake data.
• Collect patient medical and social history.
• Review medication list and allergies; coordinate with pharmacy.
