Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA or NCMA - NCTT certification recognized; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures including vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urine tests, EKGs and splinting.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Manage patient intake, document medical information, and report test results as directed.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and clinic communications.
• Maintain organized workload and deliver prompt, courteous service to patients and staff.
