Job summary

MCE Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under physician supervision at our Enterprise, AL clinic. The CMA will support clinical procedures, room preparation, patient intake, and efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, managing logs, and handling administrative tasks such as scheduling and referrals. Licensure and certification reimbursement are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.
• Completion of an approved CMA externship program is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or NCMA certification preferred/required.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical procedures, take vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and manage patient intake and documentation.
• Support administrative duties: scheduling, referrals, insurance verification.
• Maintain organized daily logs and assist providers as needed.
• Educate patients on medications and health topics; ensure safe care.
