Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS through American Heart Association required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RCMA/NAHP/NHA/NCCT) certification required or obtained within scope.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Core Skills and role-specific competencies as defined by scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical tasks and care planning.
• Maintain accurate chart documentation and patient records.
• Support patient education and engagement using teach-back techniques.
• Assist with front office duties as needed to ensure clinic efficiency.
• Precept and mentor new staff or MA students as required.
