Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES is strongly preferred but not required.
• Maintains required certifications and BLS as specified.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is valued.

Responsibilities

• Performs rooming and intake including vitals and data collection.
• Reviews patient medical history and current medications.
• Assists provider during treatments and procedures.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Administers medications under provider direction.
• Prepares and maintains exam rooms and supplies.
• Schedules tests, referrals, and manages front-desk tasks as needed.
