Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant I for AMG Primary Care in Boonton, NJ. This full-time day position (8am-4pm) supports physicians with clinical tasks and administrative duties to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vitals, specimen collection, and charting, while delivering compassionate patient care and collaborating with the care team. EPIC EMR proficiency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT.
• Preferred: Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field.
• 1 year of experience in health care services.
• 2+ years experience in outpatient, ambulatory setting.
• BLS upon hire.
• EPIC or similar EMR system; ability to work within computer systems.

Responsabilités

• Handle patient intake, updates medical records, and administer screening tools.
• Record vital signs and collect specimens under physician supervision.
• Assist with walk-in and scheduled visits and ensure data accuracy.
• Guide patients through the healthcare system and help with appointments.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clean, stocked spaces.
• Provide emotional support and refer patients to appropriate specialists.
