Job summary

Lutheran Health Physicians in Indiana is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and administrative functions in a patient-centered clinic.

The CMA will assist with procedures, prepare exam rooms, manage patient intake, coordinate referrals, and ensure efficient operations while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications include CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT, BCLS certification, and 0-1 year experience or externship; great benefits and schedule with no weekends.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship program.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urinalysis, EKGs, and splinting.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, reports results, triages calls, and documents information.
• Coordinates referrals and manages clinic communications.
• Maintains organized workload and delivers prompt patient service.
