Job summary

The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, coordinating tests, and assisting with medication reviews and education within a Medical Home setting. Requires Nevada CMA license or pending application, BLS, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
• Experience in a multi-physician office practice is highly preferred.
• Current Nevada license for Office Laboratory Assistant or Certified Laboratory Assistant, or application submitted within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in front- and back-office procedures and coordinate patient questions or concerns.
• Room patients promptly, take vital signs, and prepare exam rooms and lab specimens.
• Track and coordinate patient test results and remind patients of overdue health maintenance topics.
• Assist with medication review, goal setting, and patient education within Medical Home/medical group settings.
• Support casting/brace-related tasks where applicable and maintain records per policy.
