Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a physician, extender, or registered nurse. You will perform both front and back office functions to support daily operations and patient care.

Ideal candidates have a GED/HS diploma and completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or 2 years of related clinical experience. CMA certification and BCLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or 2 years related clinical experience in lieu of formal education.
• CMA-AAMA certification or similar required upon hire; Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsabilités

• Provide a variety of patient care activities under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse following established guidelines and standards.
• Duties include front office and back office tasks as assigned.
• Support clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.

Formation

H.S. Diploma or GED

Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program

2 years medical assistant/related clinical experience in lieu of formal education
