Southgate Medical Group, LLP in New York is seeking a clinical Medical Assistant to support physicians, NPs, and PAs in a busy Primary Care office. The role includes patient check-ins, vital signs, basic eye exams, and assisting with point-of-care testing.

You will perform EKGs, finger-stick glucose, INR, A1c and other rapid tests, and collect samples for lab testing. Strong patient service and teamwork are essential.

• Ability to multitask and work well in a team.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vitals; perform eye exams and basic point-of-care tests.
• Perform EKGs, finger-stick glucose, INR, A1c and other rapid tests as needed.
• Collect specimens for lab testing (throat swabs, wound and urine cultures).
