Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Show patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs and document in EHR.
• Assess patient symptoms and record data in the medical record.
• Take labs, prepare for pickup and record in EHR; communicate with departments on lab protocols.
• Set up exam room and assist with procedures as directed by physician/ provider.
• Assist with front office operations including reception, records, scheduling and billing.
