Lange Recruiting is assisting a well-established Family Medicine practice in recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant. The CMA will support providers, manage patient flow, and document vitals and tests in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Prior CMA experience preferred, especially in primary care.
• Proficient with computers and EMR systems; experience with EMDs is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, friendly and outgoing personality.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow and ensure office efficiency.
• Triage and room patients, record vitals in the EMR.
• Manage lab specimens and diagnostic test orders.
• Prepare, clean, and stock examination rooms.
• Return patient calls and answer clinical questions; communicate timely.
• Coordinate medication delivery, injections and prior authorizations.
• Assist with referrals and coordinate with pharmaceutical reps.
• Support additional administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
