Texas Health Physicians Group in Arlington, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a fast-paced, high-volume clinic. The role requires a CMA certification, a high school diploma, and completion of THPG training within 90 days of entry. BCLS is required within 90 days of hire.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with standard clinic hours (8am-5pm), Monday through Friday, in Arlington, Texas. Strong preference for at least one year of MA experience and a patient-focused team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training within 90 days of entry.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process.
• Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position.
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.
• Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
• May work in the front office as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s).
