Job summary

Texas Health Resources’ Internal Medicine Clinic in Bedford, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time day shift. The role supports high-volume patient care, records vitals, administers medications, and assists providers in a fast-paced clinic.

Requirements include CMA certification, high school diploma, and completion of THPG clinical training within 90 days. Prior MA experience preferred; ACLS/BCLS certification beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required).
• 1 year Medical Assistant experience (preferred).
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) program within 90 days (required).
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (preferred).
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (required).
• NCT - Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training may be required (preferred).
• Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant process.
• Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.
• Obtains and records vital signs and medications/presenting problems.
• Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via various routes.
