We Are Hiring

• Department: Fishers Family Physicians
• Schedule:Monday - Friday, Days
• Facility: Ascension Medical Group - Clinic
• Location:Fishers, IN

What You Will Do

Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).

• Assist with treatments ordered by the provider as supervised by the provider or registered nurse.
• Perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Perform basic clerical duties including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Manage supplies by ordering and stocking.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Document provider-patient encounters as needed.
• Record diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as indicated by the provider.
• Transcribe patient orders for tests and medications.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date; accepted organizations include American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration within 3 months (90 days) of hire or transfer date; both accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalency OR 1 year of relevant job experience.
