Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group Tiger Point in Gulf Breeze, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, day shift in the Primary Care department. You will welcome patients, measure vitals, and prepare examination rooms to ensure smooth visits.

You will transcribe orders, document encounters, and manage patient records, with required BLS and MA licensure. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Medical Assistant certification/licensure required.
• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and preparing examination rooms.
• Assisting with treatments as directed by providers.
• Documenting encounters, listing diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions.
• Transcribing orders for lab work, testing, and medications.
