Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to join its Kentucky clinic. The role involves patient intake, tests, medication administration, and coordination of care under supervision. Requires BLS/ CMA and familiarity with medical documentation and office procedures.

Shifts are day-time, full-time, with travel as needed to support clinic operations. Excellent teamwork and compliance with safety standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains policy compliance and annual competencies.
• Prepares patients and equipment for treatment and documents results.
• Provides whole patient care during visits including intake and labs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Supports staff by assisting patients, visitors, and co-workers.
• Performs clinical intake including screenings and history taking.
• Assists with minor procedures and ensures proper documentation.
• Educates patients on tests, medications, and diet; manages inventory.
