Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join the patient care team. The role includes direct and indirect patient care under a Provider's supervision, patient intake, documentation, vaccine administration, and acting as a scribe when needed.

The CMA will assist with appointment scheduling and maintain medical record documentation in EPIC EHR, ensuring accurate charting and coordination of care. A qualifying CMA education program and active BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an approved medical assisting program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active CMA/RMA certification or registry with accredited body.
• Experience with EPIC EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and documentation.
• Document patient data and observations per credential requirements.
• Administer vaccines and medications as allowed and required.
• Enter information into Epic and verify chart accuracy; act as scribe as needed.
• Support providers with scribe duties and maintain patient records.
• Maintain and restock clerical and medical supplies.
