Overview:

Sentara Urgent Care Red Mill is now hiring a Certified Medical Assistant Coordinator (Team Lead) in Virginia Beach, VA!

Location:

Virginia Beach, VA

Work Shift:

Swing Shift

Schedule:

Clinic hours - 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Scheduled hours and shifts may vary based on business need and candidates' availability.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager to ensure efficient clinical operations.
• Assume responsibility for daily clinical operations.
• Support employees with operational needs and manage multiple projects.
• Support leadership and collaborate with cross-departmental teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Implement new processes independently and act as a role model and subject matter expert.

Qualifications:

• Education: CER - Certificate or High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification/Licensure: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification. BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: 2 years in patient care, 1 year in medical office administration.
