Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant Coordinator in Harrisonburg, VA. This role supports the Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager, ensuring efficient clinical operations and daily workflow management.

The ideal candidate will have CMA/RMA/CCMA/EMT-B certification on day one and at least one to two years of related experience in administrative, medical office, and patient care roles. Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week.

• One year of administrative experience is required.
• One year of medical office experience is required.
• Two years of patient care experience is required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager to ensure smooth clinical operations.
• Assumes daily clinical operations responsibilities and supports staff with operational needs.
• Leads multiple projects and implements new processes independently.
• Acts as a subject matter expert in clinical areas and supports leadership as needed.
