Job description

Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a clinical staff position responsible for designated patient care duties within Entaa Care, a practice pod of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC. The location is Columbia, MD.

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

• Day Shifts: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Weekend work not required

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
2. At least one (1) year of experience in a clinical setting or physician's office; ENT and/or Allergy experience preferred
3. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program
4. Current certification in basic life support (BLS)
5. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems; computer literacy required
6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
7. Professional demeanor, patience, tact, and assertiveness

Additional Information:

Benefits offered may vary; discuss with your recruiter. Salary ranges from $19.50 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Compensation details will be discussed during candidate screening.
