Job summary

Highpoint Health- Sumner is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the surgery team on a full-time, day shift. You will support patient assessments, basic diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and documentation to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma, CMA program completion (preferred), BLS within 30 days of hire, and at least 2 years of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with performing patient assessments and treatments
• Performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
• Monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition
• Documenting patient care given
• Maintaining equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting
