Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our Pain Clinic in Sumner, TN. This full-time role supports patient assessments, basic diagnostics, specimen collection, and care documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will maintain equipment and supplies, handle administrative tasks, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure high-quality care. A high school diploma, CMA program completion, BLS within 30 days, and 2 years medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program preferred.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient assessments and treatments.
• Performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition.
• Documenting patient care given.
• Maintaining equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Performing administrative or clerical duties as assigned/needed.
