Job summary

Highpoint Health- Sumner, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in Hendersonville, TN. You will assist with patient assessments, perform basic diagnostics, document care and support daily operations in a 167-bed facility serving Middle Tennessee for 65 years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
• Minimum 2 years medical office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition
• Document patient care given
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned/needed

Highpoint Health- Sumner has been providing quality health care to Middle TN for 65 years. Since opening in 1959, we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Today, we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.

How You'll Contribute

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This includes:

• Assisting with performing patient assessments and treatments
