Job summary

Highpoint Health- Sumner, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the team in Sumner County. You will assist with patient assessments, basic diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and care documentation.

We value compassionate care and ongoing professional development; the role requires BLS within 30 days and at least a high school diploma, with preference for CMA program graduates and 2 years medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with performing patient assessments and treatments.
• Performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition.
• Documenting patient care given.
• Maintaining equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Performing administrative or clerical duties as assigned/needed.
