Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) credentials and BLS certification.
• Capable of basic clinical tasks under supervision and HIPAA guidelines.
• Familiar with CPT/ICD-10 coding and medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider and clinical staff with obtaining vital information and preparing patients for exams.
• Record patient history, review systems, document vitals and ensure chart accuracy.
• Draw blood and collect samples as directed and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
