Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in obtaining patient vitals and updating patient charts.
• Collect and process point-of-care samples and assist with waived testing per policy.
• Administer treatments, dressing changes, medications, and therapies under physician supervision.
• Chaperone and set up for procedures and examinations as needed.
• Coordinate with front desk tasks, scheduling, and coding for billing and QA.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and a clean clinical environment.
