Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Primary Care Float Pool

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients respectfully
• Prepare and review patient charts, verify diagnostic test results and reports
• Measure vital signs and prepare treatment rooms
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory checks, tracking referrals, and answering phones
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or GED
• Active Medical Assisting certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, etc.) or Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (not in South Carolina)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• One year of medical assistant experience (preferred)
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician’s office (preferred)

Skills & Abilities:

• Problem-solving, basic computer skills, and excellent communication
• Engage professionally with staff and patients

For LPNs:

• Active LPN licensure
• BLS certification
• One year of clinical patient care experience (preferred)
• Ability to provide appropriate care to patients of all ages
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
