Join our team at Jordan Valley Community Health Center! We are hiring for the positions of Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Sign-on Bonuses: MA: $2,500; LPN: $3,000 (eligible)

Position Details

Medical Assistant (MA):

• Performs administrative tasks such as scheduling, records management, billing, and coding.
• Supports clinical duties like taking vital signs, medical histories, blood draws, and medication administration under physician supervision.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provides nursing care within the scope defined by Missouri Nurse Practice Act under supervision of licensed practitioners.
• Supports health promotion and cares for ill or injured patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing knowledge to ensure safe patient care and positive outcomes.
• Assist in data collection and documentation on EMR.
• Carry out physician orders accurately and administer medications safely.
• Maintain communication among patients, staff, and physicians.
• Report patient needs and observations to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in staff development and continuing education.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years relevant clinical experience or current valid CMA credentials.
• Graduation from a medical assistant program.
• Current BLS certification (must obtain within 90 days if not already certified).

LPN:

• Graduation from an LPN program and current LPN license.
• Current BLS certification (must obtain within 90 days if not already certified).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience in community health nursing.
