Job Summary

Medical Assistant (MA):

Performs administrative and clinical duties under physician supervision, including scheduling, records management, billing, vital signs, histories, blood draws, and medication administration.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Performs nursing duties within scope of practice per Missouri Nurse Practice Act, under supervision of licensed practitioners, caring for ill, injured, or patients with health alterations.

Key Responsibilities

For MA and LPN:

• Utilize nursing knowledge for patient care; document and observe outcomes.
• Assist in data collection on EMR.
• Follow physician orders accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain communication among patients, staff, and physicians.
• Report patient needs and observations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team.
• Participate in staff development and continuing education.

Minimum Qualifications

CMA:

• 1-3 years relevant experience or current valid CMA credentials.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Minimum one year nursing experience in a clinic setting.
• Community health nursing experience.
