The CMA provides patient care and supports a clinic-based team led by physicians and APPs, handling both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualified candidates have a CMA certification (or RMA), basic EMR and Microsoft Office skills, and a high school diploma or GED. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
