Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Athens, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Gastroenterology Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). You will support clinicians with clinical and administrative tasks in a outpatient clinic setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited MA program, CMA or RMA certification, EMR and MS Office knowledge, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preferred associate degree and prior clinic or hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Current national CMA or RMA certification.
• Basic EMR knowledge and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient care in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician/advanced practice provider.
• Perform both clinical and administrative tasks to support patients in gastroenterology settings.
